Implementing Lean-Agile at Scale in Highly Regulated Industries

Lessons for ensuring compliance with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®)

Traditional compliance processes are usually performed in big batches at the end of the development phase. This results in a large wave of testing and compliance activity that leads to delays when problems are found. As a result, the cost of rework has the potential to be catastrophic in economic terms for companies and mission delivery in government. There has to be a better way.

In this live webinar, we will cover ways to implement lean-agile at scale including:

  • Implementing a Lean Quality Management System (QMS) that builds compliance in iteratively throughout development
  • Breaking compliance concerns into small batches and automate as much as possible
  • Inviting compliance teams to inspect more frequently but also to help development teams learn more compliant patterns
  • Addressing compliance concerns early and often, reducing cost of change and delay, making final approval a boring, non-event
